At DBS we understand the importance of balancing study with social and physical health, accordingly, we have over 60 clubs and societies to choose from ranging from sports, enterprise, academia, and charity. The years spent at college are arguably the most formative years in one’s life. With this in mind, DBS has appointed an award-winning Student Experience Team to help facilitate numerous trips, outings, events, and charity mornings. Our dedicated Careers Team run workshops to help students perfect their CV and put their best foot forward when embarking on their career. DBS Careers also host a bi-annual ‘Personal Career Development Week’ liaising with leading companies to deliver Information sessions, events, webinars, and discussion groups.
DBS continues to grow and build on its reputation as Ireland’s leading independent college. July 2007 saw the College’s acquisition of Portobello College. The amalgamation of the two institutions creates Ireland’s largest independent third-level institution with a student population of more than 9,000 and the ability to deliver over 100 accredited programs. DBS also has a number of non-accredited programs on offer that have been designed in conjunction with the industry.
